A different format.

These were done yesterday.....but since today i've been getting ready for a glaze kiln to go on tomorrow,  and it's not a very pleasant day out there.... i thought i'd put a couple of the paintings i did yesterday up here!

This is 12" x 24" which is a very unusual format for me, i usually like square paintings!   anyway, it was an interesting space to balance, and i'm not sure if i'm done here.

the others in the extra are 6" x 6" which i really love doing.  It's such a little space and perhaps i will try and use a couple of them to make larger paintings.   It's not all that easy to translate into a bigger image, plus i mix up paint as i go along...but we'll see!  I think i'm being influenced by the amazing greenness out there, and all the pink and purple lupines!!!

Had a lovely visit with Jane in the studio while i glazed.....nice way for me to have chat with a friend!
