Now is the Cool of the Day...

That's the title of a song we used to sing when were in the choir in Moniaive, SW Scotland.
It came to me when I looked out through the hatch just now. It has cooled down outside and all is still and quiet on the canal except for a lone seagull soaring and swooping.
We are on the boat as we're getting her ready for bottom blacking this week.
We'll be doing it all ourselves to save money.
