Golden Light

As I was waiting for my bread to toast and my coffee to drip through I got a text from my brother asking if I wanted to go out for breakfast with him and my sis in law. Yes please!
Toaster and coffee machine off, jumped into shower then walked down the hill to the local cafe.
A much enjoyed breakfast of french toast with bacon and maple syrup and a strong coffee was consumed. Nice chat and a good way to start the day.

Later I headed along to Cramond for a very bracing walk with the camera, an enjoyable hour or so.

So, goodbye 2012 - on the whole, you sucked!!
