Welcome to France
... or more accurately St Margaret's Bay on the English Kent coast near Dover, but my silly mobile service always sends me a message welcoming me to France whenever we visit!
You could probably walk to Dover via the beach along here, but as it is under water at high tide one would be very silly trying it, and there are new "warning of death" notices displayed, indicating that some people had tried. I was just content to wander round the headland as the tide was going out to get this shot of the rather menacing clouds keeping the sun at bay. Fortunately (or for gardeners, unfortunately) there was no accompanying rain, just a welcome breeze for a rather warm, muggy day.
So two silly reasons for entering this image into Admirer's Silly Saturday Challenge!
