CWT1
Having camped on the Corpach shinty field, I took the first train to Glenfinnan and began walking. I recharged my phone at Corryhully bothy - a slightly surreal experience for a bothy user - and tramped on. Over the bealach, I endured the rocky and boggy path up Glen Dessary, wondering whether this was really something I wanted to do. Negotiating the narrow gorge down from the lochans at the bealach provided a welcome break from bog trotting and rock hopping, and then Loch Nevis came into sight. Knowing that it wasn't far to Sourlies bothy, I increased speed on the downhill and arrived about 18:00. There were a dozen of us at the bothy, so I cooked inside and slept in my tent.
