Old Style

I spent my teenage years near Lyons, a suburb right outside of Chicago, but I never noticed how nice of a town it was until today when I had to venture over there to run errands. While I was waiting for my comforter to finish drying at the laundromat, I went for a short walk. On paper, Lyons is a ghetto town, but if you really explore the area, you'll find some nice places, like the trail by the Salt Creek and Stella's, a restaurant with an arcade and batting cages (nostalgia overcame me when I walked in -- I went there a lot when I was growing up.)
