MARRIAGE

This lovely couple stood up in church a few ago and invited us all to share their happy day. They are fairly new to the church but have quickly become embedded into the church family. It was a great opportunity to wear my big hat:))))) The service was lovely and the bride was very sparkly. The groom was very nervous!!! Sadly she lost her Dad a few months ago so he walk down the isle was poignant and even the vicar had a tear or 2 !!
As it was our monthiversary 385 months :))) and to celebrate the house sale we went out for a meal with Dan and he kindly but very unexpectedly treated us. It was also a good excuse to distract The Rev after yesterday’s trauma. I think he’s still getting flashbacks and you can’t under what you’ve seen.

Experts on romance say for a happy marriage there has to be more than a passionate love. For a lasting union, they insist, there must be a genuine liking for each other. Which, in my book, is a good definition for friendship.
