A candle for Grandad

Sadly, it was my father-in-law's funeral today. He was very old and frail, but it is still hard, especially for his wife and his two sons.

The ceremony went as well as was possible, but his death just before Christmas has cast a long shadow over the holidays. Hopefully once the sadness has cleared a little we will be left with all the happy memories of him in his glory years.
