Glad to be home

Ah! New Year's Eve! See you all on the other side and may your 2013s be amazing.

We have just spent our first day home from our Grand Tour (which I hope to back blip later). We made it round all 700 miles and nearly all family and had a fabulous time. The F'ers are so tired that they have been a bit wingey, but that's ok as the Husband and I have been too!

Already had my first bit of good news for the New Year this evening that one of our pals is having twins!

Steak for dinner and maybe bed before 12. Gone are the crazy days of supping champers and cigars on Brighton beach (when I partied when it was 1999....) but still a mini happy grateful celebration none the less.
