35 years together (so far...)

35 years ago, in Woodbridge, Suffolk, we got married at the Methodist church we were attending at that time.
It was a lovely few days, filled with love and families and friends. Many of the people who were at the wedding are no longer with us, and many other people, who were not born when we got married, are now grown up and part of the family. That often surprises me as in one way time has sped by, but in another way seems to have stood still.
I am so happy that Jan and I are still enjoying life together.  Today was our first day alone for some time and it felt so natural to relax together, take time off from any work, and eat good food with good wine in each other's company.
We decided to use the same picture for our blips, but the text is all our own!
Here's hoping for many more years together!
