Taking their turn

Drive into La Rochelle to find we’re out of step with mealtimes, so make do with salads and galettes for lunch.
 
We make our way to the aquarium via the big wheel: it’s not a long ride, but there are some fine views of the port. 

Although we’re pretty familiar with the aquarium, there’s always something new to get out of it. Andy is particularly taken with a small burrowing fish, which is, indeed, very entertaining.

On the way home, we stop for dinner at the Café de la Paix, and enjoy some good food in splendid surroundings.
