Walk for Parkinson’s

N went up to Harrogate yesterday so that he could join his family on the Walk for Parkinson’s in Ripley today. They are walking for N’s dad who has this beastly disease. This is a picture of the back of N’s sister’s shirt.

N and his brother did the 10 mile walk whilst his mum, sister, niece and sister-in-law did the 2 mile walk and between them all they have raised over £1000.

We’re very proud of them.


Meanwhile down in the south, L and I spent the morning with my friend D and the afternoon round at my parents where my mum made a lovely roast chicken. We sat and watched the tennis and cricket finals until I needed to get L home for bed so I missed the rather tense endings to both matches!
