Back in 2000, the village came together and created a Millennium Wood. Everyone was given the opportunity to sponsor the planting of a tree. 19 years later the wood is doing really well. We visit every so often just to see how the wood is progressing and whether the tree we sponsored is surviving. This is our ash tree. No longer a wee sapling. It's huge.
