Birdy Party

A busy day today, went to Peebles for our steak pies for tomorrow's New Year dinner. My Mum; Dad; Brother; Sister-in-law and Nephew all coming so we will have a very hectic day tomorrow.

When I came back from Peebles, I got some more shopping and god the shops were busy but thankfully that's it now, I'm ready for 2013. Only the bathrooms to clean and all my chores will be done.

I was putting some rubbish out in the bin when I noticed the birds were flying back and forth in big groups then landing in the trees and taking off again. Stood and watched them for a good ten minutes before they settled down completely.

My blip today is off the aforementioned birds soaring into the sky, its amazing what you can catch from your back door step, after all the other pictures I took when I was out and about today.

Those birds were certainly in the mood for the New Year, having a brilliant time in the sky. You could say they were having a birdy party.
