Orange on White

Busy Sunday preparing house for guest arriving on Friday.  I took some time to learn more about my Nikon macro lens.  I bought it used together with an adapter to fit it to my Fujifilm X camera.  

In order to photograph this small orange, I waiting for Linda to leave the house and make the kitchen island available to me.  This is where I set-up a tripod an a white board, and a stool to make this shot.

The camera and the lens do not communicate.  This was an all manual exercise.  I am happy with the results.  The image is sharp and the depth of field sufficient for the orange skin texture to be visible.  

I had the kitchen back in shape before Linda arrived home.  All is well!
