"These boots are made for walking"

And they've been walked in a LOT, as you can tell by the toes. They're Mae's favorite pair of footwear & she wears them most every day. I had no clue how to do a low key photo--todays' MM theme being high or low key--so I put a little table outside, with the edge of it in the sun, then stuck Mae's boots on it, one boot in the sun and one in the partial shade under the tree. Took a lot of "tries", but only ended up with one I liked. Had to blip early today as Tom's lab draw, followed by chemo, is at noon & not being sure how long we'll be gone, the light in the late afternoon would have been totally different. Thanks to Carolina for the great themes this month--this one was totally out of my comfort zone, but it's good to try new things! :))
