Orange poppy meadow
Now that we are back in Edinburgh and have no plans to be away again until mid-August, Mr hazelh and I are trying to rediscover our routine. This is not the easiest of tasks when you have a houseful of guests!
Anyway, we started the day with a visit to the dentist. Then while Mr hazelh did the grocery shopping, I ran a few errands on McDonald Road and Leith Walk. Back home again, I have devoted most of the rest of the day to further editing of a journal paper that I am co-authoring with Peter. I also updated my blog with my latest exciting news.
Mr hazelh and I popped out for a bike ride late afternoon. It was just after we set off that we noticed these fabulous orange poppies in St Mark's Park.
Exercise today: ~11 mile bike ride and a small amount of walking (9141 steps).
