Eagle-monitoring again today on Hoy. The white-tailed eagle chick may fly any day this week, but not today. Pretty hot today and no wind so the bird may have been lethargic and the lack of wind probably wouldn't help. Instead of getting the 4.30 ferry as usual I had a walk on the beach and a coffee at the cafe, and caught the 6.15.
