Today's the day …………………. to set free

This beautiful butterfly was on the inside of the kitchen window this morning when I came down for breakfast.

So I don't know whether it had flown in yesterday from outside and just got trapped overnight - or whether it had hatched out from some little nook or cranny in the house.  Either way, it was in pristine condition.

It gave me great pleasure to open the window and see it fly away free ………………...
