Over and out....

The skip was duly collected at 7.30 this morning and the very nice young man did the job exceedingly well with very little disruption to the rush hour traffic and none to our hedge. He had to park the truck at right angles to the road, reach in and lift it up and over. Sadly the lawn has suffered from four weeks of being squashed and deprived of light, but will recover eventually.

Then I watered the garden as promised, washed two cars, did some sorting in the conservatory and made the trip to North London, where S and I spent some time inside a tent in the garden getting hotter and hotter by the minute but talking about anything and everything. She and her dad camped out over the weekend, just because.... Wonderful!

The sailing holiday is going well though they could do with a bit more wind....
