A change of plan!!

We were supposed to join the river boat today, but due to the high water levels it cannot get to Frankfurt under the low bridges. So we are staying at the hotel for another night and then will set out for the proposed visits by coach tomorrow morning.

During the day we have done more sightseeing and visit the museum of modern art. I'm not a fan of modern art but the building was superb!! Shaped like a wedge of gateau, with a pointed end and many layers.

We saw many swans, ducks etc on the river banks. They were not bothered by people wandering about as they are used to being hand fed and every passer-by is seen as a potential food source!!

The avenues of trees were beautifully coppiced.
