Goodnight sweet pup, you will be missed.

Sadly, this will be my last post of the adorable sheepdog Buddy, as on Sunday, November 18, 2012 my family and I were forced to abruptly say goodbye to our much beloved pup, after only 7 short years. He was actually just recovering from an engorged kidney that had recently been removed. On the mend and as chipper as ever, it was quite the shock when he passed so suddenly.

As I continue to reflect upon the time we had with him, and the impact Buddy had on all of us, I found myself rifling through these old photos I had taken for a photo class way back when. All puppies are adorable, but I do admit to having a bit of a bias when it comes to Old English Sheep puppies. They're just too cute, and while Buddy was certainly adorable, he was also a very sweet dog. Endearing himself to everyone he met, Buddy will be dearly missed, especially by my family which he was so very much a part of.

Update: While Buddy's passing has certainly been difficult for the family, it seems there was a little holiday magic in the air! Meet the newest addition to the family: Chumley, the adorable Old English Sheepdog puppy!
