Difficult Customer
A difficult, or rather, elusive customer. The goldfinch appears in our garden infrequently and almost always when the camera is beyond reach. By the time I return with camera in hand, ready to go, they've departed. Today, I set the camera on the tripod inside the lounge, turned on and ready for their return, an inevitable event, given the abundance of irresistible highly nutritious Niger seed on the feeder.
The remote was within reach and 'SNAP' job done. The children enjoyed looking through the long lens and clicking away, letting off another 50 or so exposures.
It isn't a great shot, but a start in this lowish light of winter. Nevertheless, I hope you like it and have a great 2013.
