Rain with a hint of Sleet

Rain to finish the year off with. On the road today there was an unbelievable amount of surface water but still drivers were acting as though it was as dry as a bone! Inevitably a car smashed into the central barrier a few seconds ahead of us - the guy was driving far too fast for the conditions, why!?
