New Year's Eve

Welcome to the last 30 minutes of 2012 - has it been good for you?

We are in the hotel bar of the Headlands - there is a very posh black tie in full flow. We have just turned up in Ugg boots, wooly hats, with the dogs and generally looking like tramps.........not having paid the £150 per head that the posh people have paid and this bloody brilliant place welcomes us with open arms, hence why we come back every year.

Although it would be fair to say its been an up and down year, I do think that some things happen for a reason and without bring too cheesy make you the person you are. I thought I'd see in NY 6 months pregnant, I'm not but these things happen for a reason, I'm sure of that. I'm lucky to have a bloody happy marriage, great friends and family, and that won't change in 2013.

For those I've met, those I've not met and those i will meet, those I know and even those who I don't know, I hope 2013 is all you hope it to be. You only live once so make it a good and happy one.
