Western Eye Hospital

This day hasn’t been anything as planned! Not all bad, though.

I had a visit planned this morning. The lady wasn’t home - we don’t have a phone number, so we’re taking a chance. Since I’d already paid for an hour of parking, I went to the post office to post a letter. Then I popped in a shop to get my eyebrows done. (I seldom find time to do this!) then I went to see an aunty from church. I had to pay for another hour of parking, but it was good to catch up with her. She stays at home most of the time now.

My eye has been red for weeks now, not getting all the way better. Before leaving home in the morning I made an appointment at the optician. The scratch I had on my cornea last month has healed, yet my eye is still red. I’ve been using drops for allergy eyes. Still red. The optician said I should go to the eye hospital because it is probably viral and only the hospital can give the right medication. So I’m in Marylebone at the A&E waiting with a bunch of others to see the eye doctor.

At least it is a pretty building and area! I got this blip out of it!
