Chasing Butterflies

A very steady start to the day after a very heavy night last night , we planned to go out for a couple and then got settled in the local on the way home.
Today is Julie's birthday I had to go pick up one of her presents from the post office as they tried to deliver it when I was out. After getting back we then headed off to chambers Farm wood to search out butterflies. Been very hot and close to midday they was very active to not to many photo opportunities . This one is a Silver Washed  Fritillary I have blipped one before . I have included a comma , a poor quality specimen of a Purple emperor with part of a wing missing and also a 6 spot Burnet moth in the extras .
This afternoon we then headed to watch a film at the cinema we went to watch the latest  Annabelle movie . A very good horror film . Back home now for a relaxing evening with some catch up TV.
