Black Tailed Skimmer

When my husband got home today, he whisked me off for a lovely walk in the evening sunshine. We went to Lunt Meadows and I decided on not taking my long lens as last time we did not see many birds, and I thought we might see more insects or butterflies. 
Of course, as soon as we arrived we saw a kestrel over the fields hunting - typical. No matter, we had a lovely walk and saw a few of these flying dragons. I thought it was a broad bodied chaser, but on closer inspection I think it is a black tailed skimmer.
