This groyne has been here for decades, incrementally stopping long shore drift, and thereby sand loss. Its success can only be seen after decades, its work - lonely and mostly unobserved.
Peacebuilding is like this. Its a journey not a destination. Its is often lonely and success will only be determined over decades.
Peace drips slowly. But it still drips!
