Eclipse and Évora in 1893

Went to Évora today to pick up Elliott, a lad who works at Under Pressure, the coffee shop our kids frequent in Sutton Coldfield. He flew to Faro, then got the bus from there. Must say, impressed with his courage, coming to stay with us for almost ten days, when he doesn't know us. He's offered to help Mike with jobs, which will be great. He's a vegetarian, which is no problem for us, but not something the Alentejanos understand.

Photo was looking up at the sky from the photographers where I go to develop photos, loved the clouds and the typical Alentejano chimney. No other chance to take photos today.

Gratefuls:
- waking up to silence, and coolness
- Elliott getting here safely
- Paul, our son, speaking at his old school's prize giving, that he thinks it went OK

PS Very puzzled by the crescent moon as we left Évora, as I knew I'd photographed an almost full moon lastnight... started looking at Blip, and again, puzzled by all the moon shots... then read one and realized it had been an eclipse, raced outside and got what I presume must be the end of it, see extra.
