French elegance

Today was our most official day of the Twinning festivities which involved lunch with three mayors; the Mayor of Hendaye, the Mayor of Viana (Portugal) and the Mayor of Arguedes (Spain) who have only just starting twinning with Hendaye. I felt a bit out of my depth but despite the political talk, the Mayors were all very charming. I guess you could say it was not the nightmare I was anticipating!
Today's blip is of one of my favourite buildings on the promenade which I think might be typically Basque in style. I reckon the building is a block of flats but if so, what a view the residents must have.
