MAN ON THE MOON....

.... Nope - a bird flying over as I took some shots of the Lunar Eclipse this morning!

We were lucky on two counts - firstly it was going to be visible in our Western sky and not too early. In fact from 6am to around 6-30am was our show time.

Really interesting just to watch, but also with a clear sky able to get the sequence of shots here on FLICKR.

AND, to my delight a couple of birdie silhouettes! Being just before sunup the birds were getting up and about.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE and whilst we wait for the landing on the Moon 50 years back in a couple of days (20th) I came across this info the ABC put out, which is quite well done if you are into this Lunar stuff!!??
