Oh What a Tangled Web....

I wonder why boats attract spiders so much.
Our boat neighbours are away for a few weeks and a large family of spiders has taken over their back deck. I find spiders quite fascinating and not a bit scary.
Though I wouldn't really like a big hairy one crawling on me, I quite often have the small/medium ones land on me. We share our boat with loads of them and every so often they have to 'move out'. This entails me going around all the window frames and nooks and crannies with a small brush and a jug. Once I've captured them I put them out in our towpath garden. I then clear all the cobwebs away and clean the windows.
I can guarantee though that there will be new cobwebs the very next day!
I took my blip from underneath the intricate webs - that aren't visible on the photo - so the spiders look as if they are flying! All the black dots are baby spiders. :-)
