Low tide on Afon Tywi/River Towy

Had a great time last night at the conference dinner. Before we ate there was a performance by the City Lit Percussion Orchestra which was spellbinding.

Sad to miss Day 2 of the conference but we were booked on the 10:13 train from Milton Keynes to Birmingham, change there for Newport, change again and now, nearly six hours later we're on our way to our destination station - Haverfordwest. There we'll be met by one of my oldest pals and settle ourselves in for a few nights staying with her. She is extraordinarily thoughtful to her guests so we know we'll have a lovely time. Two years since I've been to Pembrokeshire and very much looking forward to a visit.

The weather has changed a bit but we'll be fine and anyway I was far too hot in Milton Keynes!

The Blip is the River Towy as the train pulls into Carmarthen.
