Black Locust grove

Robinia pseudoacacia is not native to this part of North America but has naturalized here along Cherry Creek across the back path from the Historic Four Mile House. It has naturalized throughout the temperate world and dominates the Piedmont of Italy where it puts on a spectacular show in late spring.


It is native of the Southern Appalachians if I remember right.
