Partial Lunar Eclipse

Hi there everyone. I was really excited about the event of the partial lunar eclipse yesterday. I was out in the garden for ages with my nightdress on with my camera. I really wasn't sure if my photos would come out, as I have never even tried a moon shot before. I did it with my telephoto lens on Aperture priority mode, and hand held, and just took a chance! This shot was probably the better one of those I took. I would have loved to use a longer lens though, for a real close up.....maybe one day when I win the lottery!! anyhow, I was delighted that I managed to get a photo at all.
