ECD workshop

So, I was invited to be an observere at a workshop the Early Childhood Education directorate were having today with teachers in Lusaka!  These are the facilitators!  It was a good day, I learnt a lot about how things are being done from the Ministry of General Education.  I was disappointed though because the syllabus does not correlate with what they are telling teachers to do!  Its a child centred syllabus and yet they are planning timetables with subjects for the children daily!  

Still, it was good to be part of and maybe I can be part of the change towards real play within the system!
