Enlightenment visitors

Town is swarming with Long Eighteenth Century scholars attending a huge conference on the Enlightenment. Amongst them is my friend Sharon, who is staying at our flat this week.

At 07:15 I walked with Sharon up to the Appleton Tower for this morning's sessions. Then I continued across the Meadows to my own office for a busy day of meetings, PhD supervision, and administrivia.
