Palm seeds

Champagne, fireworks, drink glasses filled with good cheer....the photos displayed on blip were so full of the New Year's spirit.

We. however, slept early and woke to a gentle rain. Very nice.

This shot was taken from a palm tree. It is producing, well, seeds...not coconuts but small green seeds. You can see the seeds in the right of the photo. It is quite an elaborate process. which I won't go into now.
