preparations for a long-exposure photo, this is part of the "making of". Yet again, we had a wonderful end to the old year with friends and fun and fire and food. And a wonderful start to the new year with friends and fun and fire and food. What more can one wish for?

Once we're tidied up, we're heading for the mountains for a few days.
