Daphne really couldn’t stand Cedric and the way he climbed all over her. She thought he was way too slimy..

We went to Tickhill (south of Doncaster) first thing this morning to meet up with daughter and granddaughters. Coffee and cake followed by strawberry picking. We collected about 6kg in just a few minutes. The children were kept occupied with a box of strawberries - I think they should have been weighed before and after as we paid by the kilogram for the fruit!

Stopped off for lunch on the way back at Woodfield Park - very nice and very cheap.

We came straight back home and I got straight down to jam making - now have twelve jars of fresh jam.
