Supplemental feeding

The heifers have been mostly eating the new growth on the pasture lately, but I would like to let the new paddock grow a little more before moooving them there, so I decided to give them a bale to eat. They were resting at the other end when I brought it, so I could open the gate, drop the bale in and remove the plastic and the net in peace. I suppose they won't let me do that again.
