Pandoriana pandora....

...... what a magnificent name for this Cardinal butterfly. Well I think it is that. Hillyblips will know, she identified yesterday's fritillary as a Queen of Spain fritillary. If it is, it is a rare migrant in Switzerland but we had 3 fighting around the buddleia. How lucky is that!

P.S. 2 people think it is a Silver Washed fritillary, but it is beautiful anyway! Apologies for misleading you...

Thanks for all the lovely comments etc. for the Queen too, butterflies in the garden are being very useful at the moment!
