Horwick Hall Garden and Arboretum

Visited the home of "Earl Grey Tea" today and its gardens and Arboretum. It was again dry and sunny with a threat of rain mid afternoon. The gardens were most interesting, informal except for the terraces but packed with colour .The Arboretum has three trails of varying lengths to walk.
Loved the thistle with associated hoverfly  and bee with its huge and colourful pollen collection. In extras a glimpse of the hall from the woodland walk.
Forecast for tomorrow is poor but we have had a splendid run!
