Lies

It has been a strange day. Work was harmonious, productive and rewarding, but weird too. 

Parliament is in its summer recess, plus the Boss is away on holiday this week. The usual pressures have disappeared. It is enjoyable but unreal. 

The place where I usually eat lunch is closed for 2 weeks, so that routine has gone too. 

The day brought lots of positives, and no negatives. This also feels strange. 

Now it is time to plan for the weekend. 

The Blip was taken outside the coffee shop I tried out at lunchtime. It shows how the camera can lie. On the right side of the street and out of shot is a super-ugly, multi-storey car park.
