Fly

These alliums were just about ready to bloom when we left to go on holiday so I fully expected to come home and find we had missed them, especially when I saw other people blipping theirs.  I shouldn't have worried; they are all out now and looking good.  The wildlife clearly like them too, as they were covered in flies, bees and hoverflies.

Today has mainly been taken up by washing and a big shop to replace all we used up before we went.  It turns out that the supermarket on a Thursday morning is a good place to catch up with your neighbours on both sides.
