Ruby Throated Hummingbird

I spent a long time outside this morning giving all the plants in the gardens a good soaking with the water hose.  

Since I was good and wet with sweat already I decided to spend one hour in my chair with my camera and to see if I could catch the hummingbirds at the feeders.

It was worth it!  I caught Mr Ruby Throated Hummingbird having a drink at the feeder that hangs from the porch.

I was going to do some colouring this afternoon but so far all I have done is nod off to sleep.  I'll try to get on with some colouring now.  I am slowly but surely getting through my collection of cards and envelopes.
