Posing Perfectly

There were two or three Mistle Thrushes around in Becket's Park, Northampton today.

I thought there was a large hornet in the garden so approached it cautiously. It turns out that it is a 2cm Hornet-mimic Hoverfly. It's the first time I've seen one.
