Election

Voted this evening in the election for the the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Northumbria Police area.
Interestingly, on the wall of the Cheviot Centre, in which the polling station was located, is this telephone. Apparently, it will allow you to call 999, or the non-emergency police number, but won't get you through to anyone in the Wooler Police Office, which is inside the building!
Not so long ago, there was a Police Station in Wooler; now the nearest one is in Berwick, some 20miles away.

MrM has been in the workshop all day, working flat out.
Not for me singing followed by a sociable, end-of-term lunch sigh! - too busy sorting through photos and editing them in an attempt to have a leaflet and display boards ready for this time next week.
Oh, and JimmyM came for a meal this evening on his way to Berwick. Lovely to see him, but...
