Strictly New Year

After last years excitement we intended to have a quiet one this year. then Sarah and Darren invited all of us over. A great evening, the grown ups had dinner whilst the children had a mini riot in the other room. They then set up a Strictly Come Dancing competition for the grown ups.

It was excellent, each child had a part as a judge, professional dancer or, as in Alfie's case, an alarmingly credible Brucie!
H and I finished second to Pete and Julia who were absolutely fabulous (dahhling).

The children then counted the final seconds down, such excitement. If Nasa had used them to count down the Apollo mission launches I think they would have got half way to the moon on Child Excitement Energy.
